Profile
1975年大阪生まれ。広告代理店勤務を経て、2006年に独立。映画「海でのはなし。」で映画監督デビュー。
主な著書に、『生きるコント』『生きるコント２』（文春文庫）、絵本「グミとさちこさん」（講談社 絵/荒井良二）
現在、サンデー毎日「なんとか生きてますッ」をエッセイ連載中。
舞台「GOD DOCTOR」（新国立劇場）、「SINGER 5」（紀伊国屋ホール）の作演出。
テレビドラマ「木下部長とボク」「ROOM OF KING」「the波乗りレストラン」（総合演出・脚本）「デカ黒川鈴木」「三毛猫ホームズの推理」（脚本）「おじいさん先生」（総合演出）「サラリーマンNEO」（脚本参加）スピッツ、ケツメイシ、山崎まさよし、ハナレグミなどのPVも手がける。
◇ユーストリームの生配信番組「スナックエリー」（ほぼ毎週水曜22:00～）ではママ（MC）として多彩なゲストを迎え、全国の視聴者と乾杯している。

◇毎週金曜日J-WAVEにて大宮エリーがナビゲートする番組、「TOYOTA FRIDAY DRIVE WITH ELLIE」が現在放送中。

◇2012年2月渋谷PARCO MUSEUMにて開催した初めての個展、言葉と造形のインスタレーション「思いを伝えるということ」展で1万２千人を動員。その後、札幌PARCOにて3500人、京都FOILギャラリーにて、4000人を動員し、この3月30日より、東北へ。せんだいメディアテークにて巡回展が始まる。
個展をまとめたアート本「思いを伝えるということ展のすべて」（FOIL出版）と、詩と短編集「思いを伝えるということ」(文藝春秋)が、好評発売中である。
2013年2月には第２弾「生きているということ」展が 渋谷PARCO MUSEUMにて開催され、1月18日～2月24日表参道のギャラリー、EYE OF GYREにて、絵と造形による個展“A HOUSE OF LOVE BY ELLIE OMIYA”にて、初めて言葉のないアート個展を開催した。
2013年3月23日に東京ミッドタウンにて六本木アートナイトのライブペインティングを行う。
Ellie Omiya
Profile
Born in 1975 in Osaka. She started her independent career in 2006. She debuted in the movie world with the film “umi deno hanashi(the story in the sea)” as a film director.
Her main books are “Ikiru Konto(the state of being alive)” “Ikiru Konto2(the state of being alive2)” (both published from BunshunBunko), and “Gummy to Sachiko san(Gummy and Sachiko)” (published from Kodansha Picture/Ryoji Arai).
Now writes regularly columns titled “Nantoka Ikitemasu(Live somehow)” is in magazine. And she writes several scripts for TV and play and directs dramas.
She also produced music video of SPITZ, Ketusumeishi, Masayoshi Yamazaki and Hanaregumi.
◇She has a live broadcast “snack Ellie” in Ustream in Wednesday 10pm, making a toast with varied guests in it.

◇Ellie Omiya broadcasts “TOYOTA FRIDAY DRIVE WITH ELLIE” in J-WAVE in Friday. (NORTH WAVE, J-WAVE, ZIP-FM and cross fm are from 4pm, and FM 802 is from 2 pm.)
◇She hold a first solo installation exhibition named “Omoi wo tsutaeru to iukoto (Telling the thoughts)”, which mobilized 12,000 people.
The second installation titled “Ikiteiru to iukoto( the state of being alive)” was held in February 2013, and “A HOUSE OF LOVE BY ELLIE OMIYA”, art and molding solo exhibition in EYE OF GYRE was held in Omotesando gallery from January 18th to February 24th. These exhibitions were the first one which was exhibited only with art installation, not using any word.
